Kingtone Loaded Pickguard

For all the SRV style tones you can imagine, these are the pickups!! In combination with the SRV Kingtone switch in place of the second tone knob, this pickguard is ready to crank out all sorts of texas blues! I’ve opted to use a blue SoZo NexGen capacitor, rated at .022uF. This does a great job at taming some of the high end in a controlled manner. In addition to the standard 5-way CRL switch, Ive added a high quality CTS push-pull pot that is wired to turn on the neck pickup in any of the 5 positions of the switch, for a total of 7 positions. In conjunction with the 6-way rotary Kingtone SRV switch, this combination can really get any blues sound imaginable. The dip switches are still covered by the original plastic as I never changed this from stock settings for the treble bleed. I’d suggest checking out kingtoneguitar.com for more info on how to use this switch, it is awesome and really opens up the strat in ways I never thought possible. It will change your playing for the better, especially in the bridge pickup position IMO.
